Circus Buildings

There are a number of buildings across the world that have been built specifically to house circuses; some of the best known include:

• Budapest Circus (Budapest, Hungary)
• Circus Krone Building (Munich, Germany)
• Cirque d'Hiver (Paris, France)
• Hippodrome Circus (Great Yarmouth, UK)
• Moscow Circus on Tsvetnoy Boulevard (Moscow, Russia)
• Shanghai Circus World (Shanghai, China)

There are also many purpose-built circus buildings that are used only occasionally for circuses among a wider programme of events, or are no longer used as circuses at all. Such building include:
