Acrobat

A performer who is represented in a number of circus genres. Most often an acrobat's scope of works includes such various works such as balancing, jumps and other kinds of works involving strength and nimbleness in the circus ring, where only a minimum number of apparatuses are present. Some of the most typical examples include: standing one-atop-one; 'acrobatic column' (where acrobats jump by pushing off their partners' shoulders); and weight-lifting pairs, where an acrobat serves as gymnastic apparatus to his partner, and vice versa.
