Straps

A circus genre and name of circus apparatus. Aerial strength-involving genre popularised by Cirque du Soleil using two narrow bands made of close-woven material fastened under the circus cupola and reaching almost to the floor. By wrapping the strap ends around their hands a performer carries out various feats, stands and dance moves.
